Many clients and people I speak with say they are worried. They are worried about the economy, losing their job, their health, their children, their family members, the stock market, their love life . . . the list is endless.
I realized several years ago that worrying is simply negative fantasying. Fantasying means to imagine or visualize and worry is nothing but fantasying. You have a choice what you fantasize about . . . you can either have fantasies about wonderful, good, positive things that you would like to happen in your life or you can have fantasies about negative things that might happen in your life. If you choose to have fantasies about wonderful, good and positive things that you would like to happen in your life, your attitude will improve, you will laugh more, you will produce more good hormones in your body, you will feel better, your work environment will improve, you will draw more people to you because you are more positive and upbeat, your love life will improve, you will have less stress in your relationships and you will have more fun.
Or you can choose to indulge in negative fantasying.
What will you choose this second, this minute, this hour, this day, this week for your life . . . negative fantasying or positive fantasying??? The choice is yours and no one else's. . . it is a simple choice . . . you have the power to choose how you will spend your time fantasying.
